Dubernia Bales
Possessing nearly 20 years of experience in the field of civil engineering, Dubernia Bales has overseen the development of residential communities, office buildings, commercial parks, schools, hotels and casinos, and other structures. Specializing in hydraulics, hydrology, roadway design, transportation, and land development, Dubernia Bales has handled projects for numerous engineering firms and the City of North Las Vegas.
Licensed by the state boards of Florida, Arizona, and Nevada, Dubernia Bales possesses extensive experience in creating technical drainage reports, grading plans, civil improvement charts, and feasibility studies. Over the course of his career, Mr. Bales has contributed to the success of several projects, including Silver Canyon Partnership and Seven Hills Parks A and B, the Bellagio, Paris Las Vegas, Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School, and Cortona Residential Community.
During his tenure with the City of North Las Vegas from 1997 to 1999, Mr. Bales held responsibility for reviewing plans and analyses from private engineering companies and developers to ensure they adhered to city codes and regulations. Since 2005, Dubernia Bales has directed his own civil engineering consulting company, Zone Engineering, Inc. in Las Vegas, where he functions as President and Chief Executive Officer. In addition to overseeing operations, he manages all of the firm’s projects and serves as the main point of contact for clients in need of consulting services. Zone Engineering offers services ranging from project entitlement preparation and technical studies to due diligence investigations and large transmission pipeline design.
Overcoming a childhood learning difficulty, Dubernia Bales received the Dr. Harrington Scholarship and attained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of New Mexico. To date, Dubernia Bales’ projects have covered more than 620 acres and 5.69 million square feet.
