Concentrating on the deeper, darker styles of dubstep, Dubfonik had his first release at 20 years old on Australian Record Label SixBux Productions and since then has supported some of the biggest national & international heavyweights in the genre.

With his debut "Lush Stranger" EP just released on New Zealand label Bassweight Recordings - including remixes from Olie Bassweight and Dubtek - and airplay on Rinse FM from UK dubstep veteran Distance, Dubfonik is set to make his mark in the Australian dubstep movement and abroad.

Though the explosion of Australian dubstep in the past year has been focused on midrange sounds reminiscent of robots and chainsaws, Dubfonik focuses on the "sub" end of the spectrum. So if you like your music deep and bass heavy, with influences from big tribal & techno sounds, then make sure your sub is turned on you're ready for some bass pressure.
