Sean James Patrick Michael McGinty was born and raised in San Bernardino, California. The fifth of six children of Millie and Jim McGinty, Sean attended UCLA and Gonzaga University (BA in English and philosophy). A proud, former member of Jesuit Order for eleven years, he left just prior to his Ordination. An alum of Loyola-Marymount University School of Film, as well as Weston School of Theology at Boston College (MTS), Sean has successfully done stand-up comedy, completed 5 marathons, a five mile swim and, today, and all the days to come, he refuses to accept any limitations of his early Stage IV Parkinson’s disease. The author of two screenplays, two dramatic plays, and ten short stories, he considers his greatest achievement to be that of a father to his beautiful daughter, Molly Grace. Moreover, Sean regards the name "McGinty" sacred and Olympian in its accomplishments. Family, in the end, is infinitely more important than health.
