Duc Ngo

As many of you could see I have a very short name and if you ever wondering how to pronounce my name, it’s D with a book so it’s Dook. I came to United States when I was 10 year old, and I have been living Fitchburg MA ever since. I am very athletic, I played soccer, tennis, and cross country when I was in high school. I really enjoy helping and teaching people, because I feel like I’m giving back to the community and or I just love sharing what I learned to other people. I am a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes, I have read all the books and now currently watching the show (the British version of course). I think now, you already have a pretty good understand of who I am. I don’t want to reveal too much about myself on internet, because if you ever meet me in real life you would already know about everything about me. I love human interaction and so I would rather meet someone face to face and talk about myself.

Passion

I am very passionate about reading! I love owning a lot of books and have a small library to myself. The types of books I read would be very different from what you would find at a college student room. Majority of books that I read are finance and business, as I mentioned early I have Sherlock Holmes therefore I do have all the Sherlock Holmes books in my little library. I also enjoy reading philosophy, psychology and lastly body language. I know, some of the books listed here might be very boring to a lot of people. However, for me? I love it. I really enjoy what I get out of the book, the knowledge that I have attained from reading all these books. Most of these books are not related to my major, but I just want to read it to understand more about “everything”.

My Goals

Many of you might think I’m reading finance and business book for “fun” and that I’m must be crazy. Well, the reason why I’m reading these book because my friends and I are starting up an Investment firm. Therefore, these books will help me with my research and business decisions. My first goal is to make my company as big as possible and hopefully make a name for myself. My second goal is to graduate UMass with a 3.8 GPA, the reason why I set this goal it’s because I want to challenge myself.
