Nurturing a passion for helping those in need, Dukens Eliacin has devoted his life to serving the community. Since 2001, he has counseled both adults and teens at various mental health agencies in Tennessee and Philadelphia. Dukens Eliacin also possesses extensive experience in conducting rigorous psycho-educational sessions for both individuals and adults who are substance abusers or mentally challenged.
Beyond his accomplishments in the field of mental health, Dukens Eliacin is a dedicated humanitarian who has traveled to countries such as Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and South Africa, and Kenya to provide compassionate care and aid to those in need. Mr. Eliacin spent seven years in Haiti as a volunteer and office manager for Faith in Action, Inc., where he helped orphans cope with natural disasters and assisted with relief efforts that included providing food and clothing to individuals. He has also spoken at conferences in China, the Czech Republic, Kenya, and Thailand regarding HIV/AIDS awareness.
Dukens Eliacin earned a BA in ESL, with a minor in psychology, from Johnson University in Knoxville, Tennessee. He then earned his MS in counseling from Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee.
