Duke Welker

My name is Duke Welker and I'm a 31 year old bear of a man standing 6 feet 7 inches and 250 pounds. I'm an ex professional baseball pitcher living in Bellingham, Washington. I recently retired from baseball in 2016 after playing 10 years with two organizations ( Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants). I'am currently finishing my Bachelors degree at the University of Alabama with a focus in Interdisciplinary studies. After completing school I'am looking at pursuing a career in medical sales.

My interests and hobbies come from all directions. I love to Mountain bike, Salmon fish, and go hiking with my 6 month old dog Indy. Being from Seattle I have a passion for coffee, craft beer and music. I'm always on the go, and love meeting new people and developing relationships.

Lastly, and most importantly is the love I have for my wife Kjerstin and our soon to be son Sawyer who is due April 21st. They keep my motor running and I look forward to the blessings, gifts and challenges of being a father.
