Duncan Turner

Turner Medical Arts is a Santa Barbara-based, women-focused practice led by board-certified OB-GYN Duncan Turner, MD. He and his team offer general gynecology services, as well as hormone replacement therapy and medical weight loss strategies, including nutrition and wellness. In cases where gynecological surgery is necessary, Dr. Turner uses minimally invasive methods and techniques when possible. Their aim is to stay current with the latest technology and advances to ensure women get the best care possible, and Dr. Turner has received advanced training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, urogynecology, laser surgery, and robotically assisted surgery. Other available services at Turner Medical Arts include vaginal surgery, breast health and cancer detection, and cosmetic skin care, including BOTOX® for treating wrinkles, vein removal via sclerotherapy or lasers, and skin rejuvenation with chemical peels or oxygen facials. For all of these options, Dr. Turner has studied medicine in three countries—England, Canada, and the United States—and draws on his 35 years of obstetrics and gynecology experience to welcome each patient to be an active participant in her own health care decisions. He also makes a point of meeting directly with his patients for their appointments.
