Duncan Harper

I'm a fenlander by birth and have lived in Cornwall, York, Madrid, Montreal, Granada and (currently) Valencia. I have always been fascinated by the Dark Ages, medieval history and Northern European and Scandinavian myths and legends. Following backpacking in the Americas, I became a lawyer in the UK, and then a translator and lecturer in Spain. ‘Revenants’, my first novella, was e-published in early 2014, followed by 'Witch of the Fall', the first of four novels set in the alternative fantasy world of Acadia. In my spare time (not that there is much) I am a keen plant-grower, photographer, filmgoer and supporter of Oxfam and Amnesty International.
