After studying piano and music theory at the Conservatoire in Strasbourg, France, he moves to Paris to work for fifteen years as a studio musician and on the road with France major pop stars: Claude Nougaro, Laurent Voulzy, Eddy Mitchell, Bernard Lavilliers, Celine Dion, Johnny Hallyday, Michel Sardou, Michel Fugain, Sylvie Vartan, Patrick Bruel, les Enfoirés, etc…

Self taught orchestrator, he writes and records music for documentaries and becomes musical director for many tv shows. He arranges and conducts for a choir festival (Nuits de Champagne 1998 to 2010) and the french equivalent of the Grammy Awards (Victoires de la Musique 2002 to 2010).

Since moving to California, he has collaborated on various projects from jazz to pop ( Paco Versailles, Lori Barth, Nicky Corbett, Kamil Rustam,…)
