Duo Semprini Merkulyeva

Stefano Semprini and Victoria Merkulyeva first met at the National Academy ‘Santa Cecilia’ in Rome in 2014. Immediately they found a rare musical and personal rapport, based on a common/shared musical approach aiming at enhancing and promoting contemporary classical music.

Therefore, Semprini and Merkulyeva’s repertoire has its starting point in the album ‘Essere’, a collection of twelve compositions for violin and piano written by Stefano Semprini himself to explore contemporary sensitibility on classical music.

Next future plans include extensive touring both at national and international level.
