Juan Duran

Juan Duran is a freshman accounting major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He plans on completing the five-year MSA (Masters of Science in Accounting) program provided by the Rawls College of Business. Juan is expected to graduate in May 2019.

Juan is from the growing city of Lubbock, Texas. He is a first generation college student looking to make a big impact on the people around him. He strives to be the best and always works hard on achieving his goals. He has big dreams and big plans for the future ahead of him. What distinguishes him from other students is his integrity and commitment to get things done right. Juan is a freshman who is already very involved in several student organizations. He is a member of the Rawls Business Leaders, Pegasus (first generation college students), the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, and a few other student organizations. Juan wants to eventually work in one of the big four accounting firms. Some of his interests include lifting, reading, and going out to meet new people.
