I have a very busy life. My life is filled with classes, work, friends, family, sorority events, church, and most importantly, my dog. My handsome golden retriever, Cooper, is one of my favorite aspects of life. There are more pictures of him on my camera roll than anything else. I think that Cooper is me in dog form. He is always down to binge watch my favorite Netflix shows, such as Criminal Minds, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Peaky Blinders. Cooper always gets excited when I tell him we are going on a walk, but refuses to jog at a fast pace and pouts the whole way. I am similar because I get excited about trying to be healthy, but the excitement leaves me when it comes time to actually exercise. Cooper also loves to hang around the pool with me on hot summer days. The hardest part about college has been being away from Cooper. I miss coming home to a warm, cuddly welcome every day. As much as I love hanging out with my friends, I would rather go home to nap with my dog than sleep over at a friend’s house. I am introverted in that way. Although I do miss him while I am at college, I am attacked with kisses each time I go home for a break. That seems to make it all okay.
