Durjoy Mazumdar

Durjoy is currently responsible for Oracle’s Storage business in North America. His direct team includes both managers and reps and indirect responsibility includes both Oracle Direct and pres-sales resources that help drive additional storage revenue and growth. It is under his leadership that we engage with our customers to help understand their data management challenges and recommend appropriate Oracle solutions. Durjoy is also a key member of Oracle’s global storage advisory board which determines future product direction, pricing and marketing.

Durjoy has been instrumental in building Oracle’s storage business since its acquisition from Sun Microsystems in January 2010 when we had 2 managers. We currently have and now have over 65 people in the organization and are growing. Prior to Oracle, Durjoy held leadership positions at Sun Microsystems and at StorageTek. Before joining StorageTek in 2001, he spent 4 years with Hitachi Data Systems and has held various technical sales and product management positions in software based technology companies. Durjoy graduated from Macalester College with a B.A. in Computer Science, environmental studies and geology.
