Dusa Vukovic

I live with my beautiful children in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, European country in the Balkans.

For the past 9 years I’ve been teaching programming in Mathematical High School. Mathematical High School is a unique school in the region. It has an extremely high quality curriculum developed for students who are highly gifted in mathematics, physics and computer science. This school cooperates with High School for Computing, also located in Belgrade.

Main area of my professional interest is programming. The book I published with my colleagues, “Introduction to programming GUI applications using C# programming language” gives an innovative approach in teaching programming to students-beginners.

Apart from programming I’m interested in improvement of educational system. I took part in several projects which had a goal to improve learning process. My innovative ideas were awarded. I also lecture several courses for elementary and high school teachers and I take part in coordination and organization of some competitions for students. I love to learn from my colleagues, to develop my skills and to share knowledge and passion with others.

For many years I’ve been active in karate competitions and worked as a karate trainer and a judge.
