ERHAN DOĞAN

Guitarist, sound engineer,composer,arranger,lyricist,short-story and novel writer.

He has completed his education in Ankara University,The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences – Department of Business Administration in 1977.

He started his professional music life in 1977,improving himself in composing and lyric writing.He is the founder of various bands in his music career.He started working with
Ümit Eroğlu (arranger,sound engineer,and composer) and participated in Eurovision Song Contest in 1979.

In 1982, he worked in an advertisement agency on commercial jingles.

In 1983, he founded an experimental music band named "Hüzün İşçileri" and performed in concerts.

Doğan worked with Hüseyin Çebi in arrangements of brass instruments in 1984.

Between 1984-1985 ,Doğan started playing guitar in Jazz Clubs and cooperated with Birol Soyurgal in Jazz.

In 1985, his composition named '’’Buralardan Gitmeliyim” was vocalized by a famous Turkish singer Attila Atasoy.During the recordings of this song;Doğan met Garo Mafyan ,a famous arranger and with his encouragements, Doğan decided to involve in studio processings in 1986. Meanwhile his professional career in pharmaceutical sector had started.

Between 1988-1992 Doğan worked for a very special orchestra of a famous Turkish singer Tanju Okan with Birol Soyurgal ,together they participated in various concerts and festivals.

In 1989, he met Yıldıray Gürgen (arranger,sound engineer and composer),the same year; Doğan established a band named “Düşgezginleri”

He participated in various workshops subject to sound engineering in 1998 and 1999 in London.

Doğan was awarded in third place in the song contest “Altın Anten” that was organized by TRT in 1993.He also was awarded with honorable mentions in“Ankara Song Contest “ with two of his compositions.

In 1995, he was the finalist in “Altın Güvercin Song Contest” .The arrangements and the sound engineering of all the songs that have participated in the contest were done and conducted by Erhan Doğan. The same year his album named “Sen Yine de Güzelsin” was in the music markets (Number 1 Production By Ali Kocatepe)

In 1995, he started stage performances and concerts with the band “Düşgezginleri” that he was the founder of.

In 1997 ,he took over the music studio that was founded in 1990,named the studio ”Düşgezginleri”
