Hello, my name is Dustin and I am passionate about playing piano and empowering others to learn to play. Born and raised in Alaska, I started piano lessons when I was 14 years old, and, while some would say that is a late start, I believe it’s never too late if you’re truly passionate about learning to play.

At the age of 17 my family moved to San Antonio, where I continued taking lessons under Marsha Perkins, a dedicated and skilled instructor. She encouraged me to enter many statewide and national competitions, and under her guidance, I performed with great success, placing first in a number of them. As a music major at UTSA, I was awarded the highest music scholarship available for Piano Performance, and found myself fortunate to study under renowned pianist and composer Dr. Elisenda Fabregas.

My family is currently made up of my lovely wife, our 2 dogs and their sister cat….
