David Vanderpoel is a Solution Architect at Slalom, a consultancy/agency/development hybrid firm specializing in driving innovation in business and product development. Since 1999, David has advised the world’s biggest brands on social media strategy, mobile strategy, and precision marketing. David and his teams invent new offerings which have been patented and productized by IBM, HP, and North Highland. His work spans new product ideation through design, development and marketing execution with clients and partners including Facebook, Google, YouTube, Turner, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Bank of America, and many others.

David speaks on emerging technology and culture regularly, and has recently appeared as a keynote speaker for OMMA Social, the AMA, and the National Retail Federation. His work has won numerous industry awards, including Emmy nominations, Webby awards, OMMA Best of Show, MIXX awards, Communicator awards, AMY awards, CMA awards, and SNCR awards.
