Daniel Visbal Bustos

Hello World!!!, My name is Daniel Visbal Bustos, I was born and raised in Barranquilla, which is the major industrial city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Barranquilla is a wonderful city that is rich in culture, music and life. The first time that I saw this world with my own eyes was on January 10th, Friday at 8.30 pm, my mother Jeanette and my father Max, they never lived together but always I have been surrounded by the love of them and my family, I was brought up for my grandparents because my mother works at that time, I had a beautiful childhood that I would like to live it again that´s I never forget the kid inside because that allow you to keep dreaming, after my childhood.

I finished my school at the “Sagrado Corazón” School. I have 6 siblings, for the side of my mom, 3, Angie, Pedro and Alejandra, this two are twins, and for the side of my dad, 3, Nataly, Ronny and Fiorella, I have got 3 dogs, Labrador, Legolas, Aragorn and Gandalf and my sister, Angie, have given me the Joyce to be, for first time uncle, Valerie is her name.

I always have been infected with passion for art, literature, music, dance. I have been part of a folkloric group called, La Pollera Colora, created by my father in 1993. This opened an opportunity to become part of an organization that travelled to France, Spain, Germany, and Chile representing the Carnival and culture of my city. After travelling and experiencing the beauty of arts and diversity of cultures.

I decided to move to London with the initial motivation to study and improve my English. In order to continue my education I had the opportunity to do a Master in Graphic Design in 2009 at the London College of Communication. I completed four years in Marketing and Publicity at the “Politécnico de la Costa” University, and five years in Information Technology at the “Autonoma del Caribe” University in Colombia. Now I am back in Barranquilla, Colombia, and I work as a graphic designer in a freelance basis, and as a graphic and web designer tutor in the Universidad del Norte and La Salle College, as well as a virtual english instructor at SENA.
