Davut Uluoz has been attending the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. His expected graduation date is May, 2013.

Formerly, he was consultant to the head of the Board of Directors and president of the Social Security Institution in Turkey. In that role, he was responsible for attending all the meetings of the Head, contributing legal studies, studying and examining the works and studies before presenting them to the head to make sure that everything was made properly. He had also served as an inspector in SSI between 2005 and 2008. As an inspector, he was responsible for inspecting the issues related to insurance, engineering, healthcare in the institution, supervising the working life in terms of social security (eg. preventing the misuses in social security system and fighting against informal employment). He also worked as a president of the commissions founded by the Head of Board of Directors of SSI in order to solve some major problems which could not be solved by functions (general directories).

Moreover, he attended international meetings in foreign countries like France, Holland and Belgium. In these meetings, he had the opportunity to observe and compare social security systems and managerial implementations on the international level. He also attended the Regional Summer School on Social Security Coordination which was organized by Council of Europe in 2009. Because of his success in this summer school, he was invited to a study visit in Council of Europe in Strasburg, France and European Commission in Brussels in Belgium.

Those strategic roles mentioned above provided him with the opportunity to follow studies in both SSI and Turkey closely on top level, follow management practices including, staffing, selection, performance management, labor relations. During these roles, he also had the opportunity to meet the leaders-like ministries, undersecretaries etc. not only from the public sector but also from the private sector and to benefit from their vision.

Davut holds B.S. in civil engineering in Middle East Technical University (M.E.T.U.) and M.S. in 9 Eylül University. He is fluent in Turkish, English and beginner in German. He wrote essays on social insurance, Public Procurement.
