I'm lucky. I live in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

I love books -- reading them, listening to them, talking about them.

I also love dogs, especially border collies. I live with one, 16 1/2 year old, beautiful, gentle Sara.

I love children. Their unique take on everything never fails to delight me. Laughing with them makes me feel very young.
