Dwayne Long

I have been in ministry for over 16 years now and Dexter Lake since 1998. God has called me out and transformed me to do a work for him. God has given Jill and I hearts for children, teens, and adults in the community as individuals but also as family units. I believe God intentionally has given us a Biblical picture of how families are to be in order for us to understand him better, so that we learn how to walk in healthy relationships in a broken world.

We want to partner with people to achieve wellness and heath through personal relationships with Jesus Christ. We have, and will continue to, sponsor many family events in the church and community. Through resources given to us, we are able to minister to kids, teens, and families through a wide array of events. We have a heart to train people up and send them out to do ministry.

My wife and I have been partners in life for 32 years and partners in ministry for 20 years. Just like any relationship we have had our struggles, but are more in love today than ever. We have two sons, and their beautiful wives and kids. Our youngest son, Adam, and his wife, Lacey, have 2 kids in Kali and A.J. Our oldest son, Dwayne, and his wife, Beth, have 2 boys in Ellis and Rowen. They are all serving and living for God.

Hobbies: Travel, bow Hunting, weight lifting, running, and softball.

Odd fact: I have a brother and two sisters and we were all born on the 16th day of the month.
