Back in 2012, DreamQuest wasn’t just some business idea I scribbled down—it was hope. It was this small but powerful belief that maybe I could build something better for my family and for my future. I spent a lot of time thinking about it, dreaming about what it could become. But life has a way of pulling you in different directions. Like so many people trying to make ends meet, I had to put that dream on hold just to keep the bills paid and food on the table.

Then in 2016, everything changed in a way I never saw coming.

I suffered a serious workplace injury that turned my life upside down almost overnight. I’ve been working since I was ten years old—working hard has always just been part of who I am. But suddenly I went from being the one who always pushed through anything… to being stuck in a hospital bed fighting a blood infection and learning that I’d be living with permanent nerve damage.

One of the hardest parts wasn’t even the pain—it was watching my wife carry everything on her shoulders while I couldn’t do the things I’d always done for us. Seeing her try to hold everything together while we were trying to survive on a $500-a-month disability check was heartbreaking. There’s a kind of helplessness that comes with that moment when you realize you can’t fix things the way you used to.

But lying there gave me a lot of time to think.

That’s when DreamQuest came back into my life. What once felt like a distant dream suddenly became the one thing that gave me purpose again. During recovery, when things felt uncertain and overwhelming, I started putting my energy back into it—little by little, day by day. What started years ago as a simple idea slowly became something much more personal. It became proof to myself that even when life knocks you down, you can still try to build something meaningful.

Today, DreamQuest isn’t just a project to me. It represents resilience, second chances, and the determination to keep moving forward even when the path gets hard.

Now I’m hoping to connect with a brand partner who believes in those same values—someone who sees the power in real stories and real perseverance. I’m looking for a paid sponsorship opportunity with a brand that wants to grow alongside a creator who understands struggle, values authenticity, and is still working every day to turn a dream into something real. 🤝💛 Here are 3 places I post regularly.
