Dwayne Heath also known as Dweezy is a 27 year old Singer-songwriter/ Producer/ Piano player and Photographer.
He plays the piano, does vocals and composes his own music.
Dwayne started playing the piano at the age of four.
He was captain of his High-school-team, Ewald P. Meyer Lyceum, who won the (First) Got-Talent show in 2008’ sponsored by Telesur, getting his school a $10000 makeover.
In 2011 Dwayne ‘Dweezy’ Heath started a production group, ‘Flososik’, with Roger ‘Mr.BoC’ van Bochove And Jim "Jwest" Westfa who share the same interests, passion and love for music.
The group lasted about 2 years opened up for Omarion at his Concert in NIS and topped several charts both local and international. Even Got airplay on the Heineken world chart show hosted by PJ Butta which airs on over 60 radio stations WORLDWIDE.
In Augustus 2012 Dwayne then left Suriname to further develop his talent else where, cuz he felt his music was unappreciated in Suriname, and certain radio stations didn't wanna give him airplay, cuz of personal reasons. even though Ride was number one on Radio 1 103.1 for 3 weeks. But thats life.
He then quickly got Attention from Big labels.. Such as Sony, Rocnation, and Jive.
in an interview with radio #597 he explained why he didnt sign to any of the labels. He stated.. there is something better for me out there.. im thinkin Platinum baby:) soema no sabie no sabie.. which means who doesn't know, doesn't know, in his Native language "taki taki"
Dwayne his first song was Over (Chocolate and Vanilla) featuring Mr.BoC which was published in August 2009.
