David Russell

David Russell is Senior Vice President and Trust Officer with Pinnacle Trust, a private wealth management company located in Madison, Mississippi. He is a 1982 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He became a Certified Financial Planner in 1987. David has provided consulting services to individuals, professional advisors, and families since 1984.
He speaks frequently on the subject of trusts and estate planning to professional and civic organizations and is well regarded for his ability to communicate complex issues into understandable language.
In 2012, David authored his first book titled What You Need to Know: The Adult Child's Guide to Being a Financial Caregiver. The book is aimed at the growing numbers of people in the "sandwich generation" who are providing emotional, physical, or financial support to aging parents, while balancing the demands of their own career and family. He is also the creator of the "What You Need to Know" workshops and editor of the Aging Parent Help blog.
When he is not working, he can be found outdoors enjoying fishing, cycling and kayaking. He has been married to his best friend Susan for thirty years and they have four grown children.
