Dick Schoenmakers

My passion for photography has always been there and has been spoon-fed at a very young age. My father, Dick Schoenmakers Sr., kept all his life engaged in the collection of old photographs and prints from my hometown, Venlo, Netherlands. He had his focus on WW2, ‘40 – ‘45, and the time of reconstruction.

My personal medium as an artist is panoramic photography. I try to capture and fixate all the important changes in the micro- and macro environment of my subjects in a broad perspective.
