Hello lovelies! I’m excited that you stopped by. Let me enlighten you with a few fun facts about yours truly.

I am a lesbian. Duh. You probably already figured that out.

I am married to an amazing, beautiful, sexy woman. Yes, we got officially married in Canada (we live in the United States) because the state in which we reside does not recognize same sex marriage. Bastards.

I am a mother. My son is my world. He’s still kind of brand new, considering my wife gave birth in December 2013. He’s taught me a whole new meaning to things in life.

I am a writer. I have been writing since I was four. I love the written word and I feel it is a vital form of communication. I am partial to essay, poetry, narrative, and I currently administer two blogs.

I am a retired slut. Okay okay, I bet you weren’t expecting that. Let’s just say I gained a little experience with the girl scene in my single days. Why is this important? Well, my writing will no doubt reflect on dating and sex. I just want to assure you I know what I’m talking about.

I am an activist. LGBT equality is more than a passion. No one rests until we can all rest peacefully.

I am a smarty pants. Well, I have two college degrees, anyway. My academic focus is on Human Services- Mental Health, and English/Creative Writing. I plan to continue my education when the time is right.

I have Bipolar Disorder. I was diagnosed in 2000, and have undergone years of struggle, highs and lows, treatment, and apparently the will to keep on keeping on. I am an advocate for ending stigma on mental illness.

Thank you for hanging out with this crazy lesbo. I hope I can offer a healthy dose of my busy little brain to keep you satisfied, and maybe hungry for more. Both of my blogs will forever be under construction because there is always room for improvement.

Please ask questions and leave comments! :)
