I'm currently a junior at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. I'm a double major in Sport Management and Finance and I'm looking into a minor in Economics. I'm currently employed at the Mullins Center and my hobbies include writing for 411mania.com, playing golf, and spending time with friends. I'm a big believer that hard work pays off and I'm driven to become better everyday.
I have one major passion in my life, one that you can say I have an obsession over, and that is sports. It’s weird, considering I was never the greatest athlete in my life. Sure, I was a fairly decent ice hockey player and played a little bit of baseball, but I was never the most athletic individual. However, I was entranced by everything about sports. I became a fanatic about how games are scored, as you would see me at the end of the beach during a baseball game keeping score for the game rather than wanting to swing the bat myself. I wanted to know the rules and history of each sport, I wanted to become a master of everything sport. My friends can attest to the fact that I can be a walking encyclopedia when it comes to sport, spitting out random trivia and facts even when no one wants to hear it.
I have work experience as a scorekeeper intern for the Danbury Westerners, a screener at State Street Bank, a member of the event staff at the Mullins Center, and an instructor at Kumon Learning Center. I look forward to all the new opportunities that I'll have in the future and will peform to the best of my abilities.
