Dylan Smith
Student, server, and Realtor in Woodstock, GA
Hey everyone, my name is Dylan and I’m a third year here at UGA studying real estate and management information systems! One of the most interesting things about me is the various places I have had the opportunity to visit and explore. My absolute favorites include Paris and London (which is where the picture above is from), as well as Hawaii and Banff, Canada. I enjoy experiencing different cultures, lifestyles, and environments that both contrast and relate to our own here in Georgia.
Ever since I was little I have been able to appreciate these experiences and the memories dance around in my head daily, from the frozen, white landscapes of Yellowstone and Banff to the laid-back, relaxing lifestyle of Hawaii and Costa Rica. I’m very interested in a possible study abroad program to explore even more, and I plan to travel to somewhere in Asia (especially Japan) after graduation.
I think this fascination has influenced my career choices as well, as I find different architecture and housing economies around the world very interesting and relevant to my plans for my future career path. I hope to further explore this topic as a realtor and/or real estate agent after graduating from the Terry College of Business. Currently, I’m working as a server at Taqueria Tsunami in downtown Athens, so feel free to stop by sometime! Although I enjoy my job and position, the idea of traveling to buy and sell homes and property as well as contributing to new information systems for progressive management interests me much more.
Nice to meet you all!
