Dylan Veneziano
Conyers, GA
I graduated with a Valedictorian honor, as senior class Vice-President and an active member of Student Government and Beta Club at Young American’s Christian School. I am most proud of my achievement as a National Merit Finalist and most fulfilled through my experiences as an academic peer tutor.
I will attend the University of Georgia’s honors college in the Fall and plan to major in business. My future aspirations are to earn a law degree and pursue a career in corporate law. For the last several years I have been involved in Rockdale County’s District Attorney’s Teen Court Program, where I actively assisted in the courtroom during juvenile court proceedings.
Entrepreneurship and on-line marketing are key interests of mine and three years ago I started my own successful (5-star top rated) eBay business, which has allowed me to test which marketing strategies are most effective and better understand what factors are important to buyers.
I enjoy volunteering in my community and my interest in drawing and painting has motivated me to play an active part in the Conyers-Rockdale Council for the Arts. This stewardship has afforded me the opportunity to mentor children in multiple art mediums while at summer art camp, as well as participate in local art programming and fund raising events. I believe my exposure to the arts has not only opened up different interests and understandings to me, but has made me a more creative and intuitive individual that I hope to incorporate in my future endeavors and business relationships.
