My parents first began cultivating my life-long love of food when, as an infant, they threw chicken curry into a food processor and fed it to me as baby food. From there, it was all downhill.
After graduating summa cum laude from SUNY Buffalo with a degree in political science and expertise in what constitutes a proper chicken wing, I moved to the Midwest to attend law school at the University of Wisconsin.
In the summer (and following year) after my 1L year, I spent an extensive amount of time helping incarcerated individuals with their legal issues, working to right the wrongs of the state's justice system.
During my second year of law school, I discovered my true passion--working with individuals via alternative dispute resolution. With roughly 80 hours of conflict resolution training and over 30 cases mediated, I've cultivated an ability to work collaboratively with parties to creatively resolve disputes and avoid the stressful experience of having a case resolved in court by a judge.
I currently live in Brooklyn, NY, and can often be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen, exploring a newly-opened restaurant, or bemoaning the quality of Starbucks coffee. When not doing things food-related, I enjoy biking, hiking, and making terrible puns.
