Dylan Corry

Howdy Doody! My names Dylan Corry and I'm a final year student in IADT Dun Laoghaire where I am studying Business and Arts Management.

I work part time in The Bernard Shaw, which is a lovely aul pub in Portobello. The hours can be tedious when you are trying to balance your work, social and college life together. But all the same I love it to bits. Running a bar of the standard that The Bernard Shaw is run at, while also taking into consideration that it can also be seen as a venue, based on the numerous gigs that are often held there, is something that I have alot of interest in as following as a career. If I have learned anything from the internship program I took part in, its that sitting behind a computer in an office for 8 hours a day is what I'm going to avoid in life.

Music is my main passion and is the only career path I have any interest in taking, whether its being stuck right in the middle of the industry or running a small indie venue somewhere.

My main goal at the moment is to do a masters at some stage, maybe within the next 2-3 years, but until then I need to feed the travel bug within me and go exploring the world. North Korea and Cuba are joint #1 on the list!
