I am a graduate of the Faculty of Education at U of Winnipeg, with a focus on Senior Years Chemistry and Biology. I've also worked in Education for Sustainable Development for Manitoba Education and Training, and worked for Career Trek in their Wonder of Work program.

Seeing students develop emotionally, socially, and academically is what makes me passionate about teaching. I believe that strong, positive relationships not only help students to learn the curriculum, but allow students to learn about the world.

My friend on the left here is Derek, who I met at a family barbecue and had the opportunity to teach at Career Trek along with his family. Derek is a reminder to me that schools help build communities, and through volunteer work and coaching, I hope to make a positive impact on whatever community I work in.
