I am from Prestonsburg, Kentucky and I still reside there with my wife and son. I have always enjoyed reading and writing and have done very well in both through grade school. Books that inspired me to follow these passions were Eragon by Christopher Paolini and the Edge Chronicles by Paul Steward and Chris Riddle.

My goals for this class is to sharpen my writing skills to far beyond what I thought I would be possible. To push myself to finishing books i have left on the back burner now for far too long. And to work on my short comes like self critiquing and proofing my own papers better.

I hope to someday be a teacher at the elementary level but if not, I hope to complete my bachelor and find a good job to start a small family farm. Something I took for granted as a child.
