As a high-school student, I took an interest in some of the editing software that myCommTech course had to offer. The software wasn't much to go with but it was free (to me) andit did what I needed it to do. I shot and edited one version of the “Harlem Shake” video but at thetime I didn't plan on pursuing this as a career so I scrapped the project; it was just for fun anyway right? My addiction with editing software was set once my buddy Aaron and I created“Slightly Less Epic Meal Time”. Inspired by a popular YouTube channel this video set out tochronicle the creation of the largest wad of meat my friend and I had ever eaten. Aaron and Ichose not to publish this project either since we couldn't possibly compare our knock off to theoriginal and we didn't know that we simply had to give credit to the creator of the idea. Now Istudy Digital Video Production at Durham College in an effort to make contact with people thatwill need a meticulous and creative video editor one day; and to learn how to produce my ownoriginal content.
