Dokumentationszentrum NS-Zwangsarbeit

Die Dauerausstellung präsentiert die Geschichte der Zwangsarbeit während des Nationalsozialismus als allgegenwärtiges Massenphänomen. Sie zeigt den Alltag der zur Arbeit verschleppten Männer, Frauen und Kinder - im Lager, bei der Arbeit, im Kontakt mit Deutschen. Sie veranschaulicht, wie sehr das Leben der Zwangsarbeiter geprägt war von der rassistischen Hierarchie des NS-Regimes.

Das Dokumentationszentrum NS-Zwangsarbeit, eine Abteilung der Stiftung Topographie des Terrors, wird als Ausstellungs-, Archiv- und Lernort kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt. Die Dauerausstellung wird ergänzt durch Begleitveran­staltungen, Führungen und weitere pädagogische Angebote.

The permanent Exhibition presents the history of Forced Labour during the Nazi era as an omnipresent phenomenon. It shows the daily life of the deportet women, men and children in the camps, workplaces and in contact with Germans. It illustrated, how much the life of the Forced Labourers was affected by the racial hierarchie of the Nazi Regime.

The Documentation Center on Nazi Forced Labour, a departement of the Foundation Topographie of Terror, is continually developed as a place for exhibitions, archive and education. In addition to the permanent exhibition we offer lectures, guided tours and forther educational programs.
