Todays preparation determines tomorrow success. Elonza Joyner has always been self driven to succeed in life. He graduated from North Eastern High School in 1994, Elizabeth City N.C. He then attended E.C.P.I in Virginia Beach, VA. and obtained a A.A.S Degree in Computer Electronics in 1995. He was offered a job in Raleigh at IBM where he began to focus on his career in Information Technology.

In 2001 he was impacted by 9/11 tragedy and was offered a severance package with the postal service. With his determination to prosper, he started his own business in Landscape and ran the business for about 10 years. After working landscape for several years, he decided to get back into Information Technology. He was offered a job at Duke as a LAN Admin and enjoyed working with people and solving their computer issues. He began to look at other positions as he became familiar with the organization and realized that a B.S. Degree was a minimum requirement for a lot of positions. He was not ready for a 4 year college as a teenager. Now that he is an adult, he understands the importance of an education. He has strived to be the best student he could be and was recently inaugurated into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society in April of 2015. His motivation and drive continues to build momentum during his journey and he's determined to succeed.
