Elizabeth Mariani
Photographer, Poet, and Teaching Artist in Vermont
Poet Elizabeth Mariani (she/her) was born in Buffalo, New York and is currently based out of Vermont. She has been published in Poem Town Randolph, The Brooklyner Magazine, Berbice [Mrkt], Hammered Out, BlazeVOX, Fortunates, Artvoice, The Buffalo News, After the Pause, Two Serious Ladies, The Seneca Nation of Indians Newsletter, Great Lakes Review, Letterhead, Nomad, and Fortunates. Broadsides have evolved from collaborations with artists Jeremy Maxwell and Michael Morgulis. As a teaching artist, Elizabeth has worked with creatives at Starlight Studio, CEPA Gallery, through Just Buffalo Literary Center at Buffalo Public Schools and with elders in the community. Currently, Elizabeth facilitates The Sky Writing Group at the Pride Center of Vermont. During the entire month of April 2017, Elizabeth’s recent poem, When You’re on The List will be featured for the second consecutive year in Poem Town Randolph. Click here for poem locations.
