My name is Emma Paterson and I hope to become a writer for an independent magazine (eg. Frankie, Smith Journal, Womankind, Peppermint) in the future. Ideally I would love to have the ability to work from home and to also be creative with illustrators and graphic designers (my own drawing skills are less than average). At university I do not get much experience doing this type of work but, when I see magazines that look AND read great I feel like that should be me writing it. At the moment I am studying Communications and Media and I enjoy being creative when writing about trending topics or current affairs. I do not have much experience in the "real world" of writing but I am willing to learn and I am very interested in writing relatable articles for hip 20 somethings.
