Hi, I am EC and I love change. For most people, change could seem like a daunting and uncomfortable feeling. For me, change has brought about some of the most incredible people, opportunities, and experiences in my life. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone. This made it challenging to grow and evolve as your reputation stuck with you. When I was a junior in high school my dad told our family that we were moving to a much bigger city, 5 states away for his job. I felt absolutely defeated and terrified. It did not take long, however for me to adjust to this new life and meet some of the most wonderful people who became my forever friends. Fast forward to college. I decided to go to a small school that resembled the small town I grew up in. It only took me a few semesters to realize I have grown out of this smaller version of myself. I decided to transfer to UGA. If I had not moved in high school, I would have been too scared to make the best decision for myself. Because I did, I am now in the major I've always wanted to be in, I'm back with my best friends, and I am getting incredible opportunities that I otherwise would have missed out on. It's safe to say I am flourishing, evolving, and continuously changing into the best version of myself.
