I am currently pursuing an MAT degree in Middle Grades Education at the University of Georgia, and I am passionate about young adolescents and the important role they play in society. While I am concentrating in math and language arts education, I also love music and enjoy incorporating the fine arts into general ed lessons as much as possible. I have lived in Georgia for most of my life, but my heart is set on venturing out of the South for a few years after finishing my degree! I am open to going just about anywhere that provides me with the opportunity to serve young adolescents, but Boston has particularly caught my attention and affections.

Besides being a full-time student, I am active in a local church in Watkinsville and the community there. I enjoy reading, running, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
