Eddie Ahrenhoerster

My name is Eddie and I usually go by Eddie Ryan because it's shorter than my actual last name. I've been involved with music since I was eight, when I first started taking guitar lessons. Since then I have also learned how to play bass and drums. I played drums and guitar in The Original Summer for four years in high school. Due to scheduling issues in college, the members of the band went their separate ways.

I have done a few solo demos which are on Soundcloud. I have also started a podcast, also called Music in the Basement, where I interview local bands and artists. I started the blog Music in the Basement because I would also like to write album reviews.

I hope to join a band in the near future, but until then I'm focussing on myself and the local scene.
