Eric Mills

Eric Mills is an educator and a web researcher with a love for anything on the border of the web and “real life.” He is a consultant for Colorado non-profits and a specialist in the intersection of Education, New Media, Social Websites and Internet Strategy/Research.

Always believing in the power of communication and its role in the social sphere, Eric has taught university courses on Protest and Social Reform, designed non-native English speaking curricula for universities in China, advised educational organizations on how to leverage social networks, and the handful of blogs on his blogging team have been nominated for weblog awards.

To keep the lights on, Eric currently advises organizations that advocate for better public education, such as Great Education Colorado and the Colorado PTA (COPTA). Recently he has consulted for and advised the University of Colorado’s Rose Hospital Graduate Residency Program, the Put Kids First Coalition, the Campaign for HCR1002 and SCR002 (DECIDE), and is a member of the Urban Education program at the University of Colorado Denver.

He hates writing about himself in the third person, but that doesn’t mean he won’t do it.
