Elizabeth Ann Peer

I am a freelance writer, reporter and editor with a passion for collecting stories that engage and connect readers from around the world. While I started locally covering everything from education to crime to religion, journalism has become a global pursuit. During my career, I have worked at the United Nations, the Beijing Olympics and in Bangkok, Thailand where I currently reside. I have a particular interest in freedom of the press and censorship issues as well as human rights, the law and politics in the developing world. Besides a masters in journalism from the University of Missouri, I have also earned my TEFL/TESL certification and am currently teaching English in Bangkok. I love trivia, learning languages and traveling in and around Thailand.
