Earl Cabellon
Earl loves to work hard but play harder. He is always appreciative of the wonderful blessings in his life. He values his faith in God, his Filipino-Amercan heritage, family, friends, education, and living a wholehearted and authentic life.
Watching and competiting in sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, and golf has always been a passion of his since he was a little boy. More importantly just living an active lifestyle has always been a priority to his life. Recently, Earl has found a new passion for running and completed his first marathon on Oct 30th at the Marine Corps Marathon.
Professionally, Earl wears two hats. He works at the University of Maryland as a Higher Education adminstrator for Campus Recreation Services and focuses on effective training, educational leardership, and student development through employment. He is responsible for the recruiting, hiring, interviewing, training, and supervising over 1000 student employees. Earl also is the League Director for Social Sports of Bethesda which is an co-ed adult social sports league in Maryland that serves nearly 3000 particpants through sports such as football, softball, dodgeball, and volleyball. In additon to the sports SSB offers, they also hosts charities and other social events.
