Eric Armbrecht, PhD
My work is committed to research, development and implementation of new ideas that enable effective chronic disease prevention and management.
I like measurement problems, which are abundant in health science. Does X work? Is Y a good product? Is Z an effective service? The best solutions draw upon scientific rigor and creative thought. My favorite projects usually involve a collision of public health, medicine and economics.
I grew up in Madison, IN, an historic town nestled along the banks of the Ohio River. Today I live in St. Louis, MO, another notable spot along America’s waterways.
I enjoy my work for the actual and intellectual places it takes me, but being at home with my family is best adventure of all.
