EarthZ

Hello! We are the EarthZ Team. We are comprised of 4 members, and are all high school sophomores: Atharva, Arsh, Arav, and Yash. Our mission is to create an AI-Based model, which, given regional data, can accurately predict specific areas of focus which have a high fire risk percentage. We plan to work with firefighters to help employ pre-emptive measures in these areas, and the general public to make this information available to everyone. Currently, we plan to start with Irvine, California. The Santa-Ana winds and So-Cal droughts directly amplify the severity of wildfires, as shown by the recent Silvarado fire, which forced thousands of people, including us, to evacuate from our homes. After this experience, we all were dedicated to ensuring potential fires could never harm our local community again.
