I am a highly-skilled, dedicated, and detailed-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist with three years of experience working on the bench. I am also a part-time lecturer teaching, training, and supervising lab agents in the vocational training route and more recently students under the higher education route.
I can;
- set up new laboratory equipment in your lab to start running like FBC coulter counter machines, Spectrophotometers, Hormone analyzers, & coagulation analyzers.
- Sample collection: can collect blood through venipuncture and via capillary. I can also collect swabs like vaginal/urethral swabs, nasal secretions, throat swabs, and anal swabs. I equally direct patients on how to collect sputum, stool, and urine.
- Run tests on all the benches of the Medical Laboratory including Haematology, Microbiology & Parasitology, Immunology/serology, and Biochemistry.
As a lecturer I can;
- Prepare and dispense notions to students
- Take them to the lab for practical demonstrations
- Evaluate and follow up on their progress
- Supervise them during internships
With a Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Infectious Disease Control, I wish to use my laboratory medicine background to carry out research on infectious diseases.

I am a two-time awardee of an Outreach Grant for LMIC to participate online and on-site in the 31st and 32nd Edition of the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Disease in 2021 & 2022.

I am equally a Freelance Career Coach and Recruitment Consultant with skills in reviewing and improving CVs, Cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles. I equally assist companies in recruiting newly qualified staff. I have a wide knowledge of the Healthcare and higher education industry. Other freelance gigs are transcribing audio and videos.

As a Social Entrepreneur, I am the Founder and Lead Trainer of Orientation Academy, an organization created in Cameroon with the mission to educate, train and inspire young students and career professionals to make informed career choices.

As a word nerd, I love proofreading books, articles, and blogs. I have a particular interest in reading books in relation to medical sciences, public health, business & entrepreneurship, theology & Christian literature, and African Storybooks. I do so in French and in English.
