I am a writer from North Texas currently working on a couple of projects. I am writing a novel as well as a collection of short stories that are all based in a fictional north Texas town called Hickory Flats and take place between the 1970's and 1990's.
I started writing whenever I was in my early twenties and haven't stopped since. The stories from Hickory Flats are gritty examples of life in a former boom town that has been all but forgotten by the people that live there and the occasional historian or tourist passing through to look at the remnants of what once was.
