About Me
I’m Essie B — a proud Washington, DC homeowner in Ward 8, mama of three, faith-grounded woman, and lifelong student of life. I believe reinvention is allowed at every stage, and I’m living proof that your 40s can be your most intentional era yet.
Professionally, I serve as a Settlement Manager and licensed title insurance producer at a DC title and escrow company. I help first-time homebuyers — especially in marginalized communities — navigate the path to homeownership with clarity, confidence, and strategy. For me, real estate isn’t just transactions. It’s legacy, stability, and generational impact in the DC Metro Area (DMV).
Academically, I’m a first-generation college student who began my associate degree at Southern New Hampshire University and plan to continue toward a bachelor’s in Political Science. My intellectual curiosity stretches across criminal justice, law, real estate, political systems, history, and psychology — because understanding systems is how you learn to move through them with power.
Personally, I’m in my health and self-improvement era. I openly share my wellness journey — including peptides, hormone balance, metabolic health, ADHD management, hydration discipline, and mindset growth — from the perspective of a midlife Black woman balancing motherhood, ambition, and faith. No perfection. Just progress and transparency.
I’m also deeply immersed in generative AI and content creation. Technology is reshaping the world in real time, and I’m committed to learning, building, and documenting the process. I create content that blends homeownership education, wellness evolution, digital innovation, and real-life reflections — all through a DC lens.
At my core, I believe in education, ownership, integrity, and community service. I’ve experienced loss, rebuilding, career pivots, and personal transformation — and I channel that resilience into everything I create.
