I have a passion for languages and for sharing/teaching that I think will never die. Any language interests me and I take any opportunity to share that with others.
I'm a PhD candidate in Iranian Studies at UCLA. In general, I research historical linguistics & language contact in the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Caucasus- mostly in in the Eastern Iranian world and with Eastern Iranian languages. I plan on focusing on the development of the Eastern Iranian branch and the role of language contact in that development, particularly comparing Ossetian and Pashto.
